The White Room
Amelia started working at The White Room on a 2 week “work experience” placement from Quarrydale School in May 2008.
Her determination and enthusiasm for the job enabled her to secure the position of Saturday assistant from then on.
Amelia finished her GCSE’s in June 2009 and was accepted at Hucknall College from September 2009 to commence her NVQ 2 and 3 Beauty qualifications.

Since starting work at The White Room Amelia has already achieved the following certificates from The International Dermal Institute:-
•Innovative Product Knowledge
•Speed Mapping
•Skin Bar Tending
•The Face treatment
•Face Mapping
Roles
She has been given responsibility for the stock control of our weekly supplies of consumables (wax, cotton wool, tissues, etc) and she also runs our staff social club.
Achievements
Amelia passed her internal assessment at The White Room for carrying out a professional file & paint treatment. She will now be taking bookings for a colour paint, nail analysis, advice for various nail conditions and recommendations for products to use at home.
After her 4 day training at Dermalogica she will now be commencing “Express” facials with face mapping.
