It doesn't matter whether it's a dinner and dance for two at the Ritz, champagne and canapés at the Hilton, or a medieval banquet at a recently restored castle somewhere in Dorset. The very idea of dining out anywhere, and at somebody else's expense, is enough to wet the appetite of the majority. A lot of thought however, has gone into the creation of mystery, whodunit affairs which, it has to be said, brings a whole new meaning to 'what the butler saw'. Very cleverly acted out, with period costumes to boot, you can fully immerse yourself in a Poirot style environment and set about discovering whether the maid did actually have a hand in it. Fantastic idea, and a great nights entertainment indeed.
Gift experiences of this ilk can be further enhanced by the introduction of technology and a lot of hands on experience from the graphic designer. It is now plausible to have the complete works of 'Sherlock Holmes', for example, transferred on to menus and place mats, or murder on the Orient Express crafted on a full dinner set. Ok, so maybe receiving a surprise gift of this ilk isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it's guaranteed to raise an eyebrow or two. Thanks to deliberately structured improvements in software, a graphic designer has the capability to make the most unusual request come true. The world is now your oyster in terms of choosing something different for that special person or group. It's up to you.
